In this video, we can see how to open the trunk of a Smart '09 that was stuck, and also the doors would not close: at first it seemed that the problem was caused by the SAM control unit or fuses, but that was not the issue. It was not even the door actuator. Only by disconnecting the negative pole of the battery did the doors start working again; but not the rear hatch.
