Replacement of the SAM unit in the Smart Fortwo

In this guide we will see the main steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the SAM unit of the Smart Fortwo. First of all, we open the front door on the passenger side and start removing the floor mat; we find the car battery underneath, which we will disconnect and remove, as shown in the video. At this point, we proceed to remove the SAM unit with the internal fuse box, disconnecting the various electrical wiring; we then repair the board or, if necessary, replace it, applying the reverse procedure for reassembly!
