To remove the interior rear view mirror on a Subaru Impreza, start by disconnecting any electrical connectors present at the base of the mirror. Press the locking tabs to detach the wiring.

Once the electrical connection is disconnected, slide the mirror along the mounting track on the glass or detach it from the base by gently pulling it towards you. If present, remove the plastic cover after sliding off the mirror. To reassemble, insert the mirror back into the same track, secure it properly, and reconnect the electrical connector, ensuring it is secure and functional.
