To replace the rear headlight bulb of the Subaru Outback, open the rear hatch to access the inside. There will be a protective panel that needs to be removed to access the bulb from the inside. Disconnect the old bulb from its connector and extract it from its housing. Connect the new replacement piece to the connector and insert it into its housing. Finally, reposition the cover and close the hatch.
