You can replace the exhaust on a Suzuki SV 650 by loosening the bolts that secure the exhaust end can to its corresponding housing: once all the support bolts are removed, you can also remove the bolt on the clamp that connects the end can to the relevant part of the collector.

Once the old exhaust is removed, you can insert the new one: it can be secured in place with the appropriate bolts and connected with the clamp, ensuring it is fully functional.
