Let's see how to change the air filter on the Suzuki GSF 1250 Bandit. To perform this operation, the fuel tank must be removed. Remove the seat and unscrew the two bolts located underneath using a 10 mm socket. This will release the tank, allowing you to detach it from the two rear spacers. Disconnect the two breather pipes and then the brown fuel pipe, followed by disconnecting the electrical connector of the float. You can now remove the tank. Locate 4 screws, 2 on top and 2 underneath, and remove them with a long screwdriver. These are captive screws and do not come out completely. Move the forced air pipes and the water drain pipe aside. Carefully pull out the old filter, clean the housing, install the new filter ensuring correct orientation, and reassemble everything in reverse order, paying special attention to the reinstallation of the tank.
