Start the engine for a few minutes to make the oil more fluid. Remove the fairing to create more working space. Unscrew the upper fill cap and the lower drain cap of the engine oil compartment. Open both holes to prevent a vacuum, thus speeding up the draining process. Collect the used oil in a container, and if the lower cap appears too dirty, replace it. Unscrew the filter with the appropriate socket wrench and install the new one. Tighten it. Close the engine oil drain hole and add new lubricant through the upper hole.
