Model: Suzuki Burgman 400
Part: Wheel

In this short and simple guide, we will see how to disassemble and replace the front wheel or tire of the Suzuki Burgman 400 scooter. First, we put our scooter on the center stand and begin to loosen the bolts of the front fork, using a ratchet wrench. Then we unscrew the central pin of the wheel, disconnecting the brake calipers to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, we go to replace, if necessary, the tire with the new one; then we reassemble the front wheel, correctly fixing the braking system!

The Piaggio Medley Does Not Have a Starter Motor

An interesting fact about the Piaggio Medley is that it does not have a traditional starter motor, as it is equipped with Piaggio's Start & Stop system called RISS (Regulator Inverter Start & Stop System) which works like this: when the scooter stops, the engine automatically turns off to reduce emissions and fuel consumption; to restart the engine, there is no need for a starter motor: an electronic inverter regulator restarts the engine quickly and quietly as soon as the brake is released or the throttle is twisted. Therefore, technically it does not have a starter motor, but it is the start & stop system that integrates the engine restart function. At startup, when we turn the key in the ignition, set it to the "ON" position, the dashboard lights up and the electronic control unit managing the RISS system is powered, and the engine starts automatically.
