You can replace the front brake pads on the Yamaha Xmax 250 by loosening the screws that secure the brake caliper to its housing: once the screws are loosened, you can detach the caliper from the corresponding disc and remove the pin that holds the pads in place.

At this point, the old pads can be extracted, and the new ones can be inserted into their place: then, secure the caliper to the disc by inserting the pin and checking that everything functions correctly.
