The steps illustrated in this guide will show us how to disassemble and replace the rear brake pads of the Yamaha Xmax 250 scooter. First, we put the scooter on the center stand and start unscrewing the fixing screws we find on the rear brake caliper, in order to remove it from the disc; then we press on the caliper piston to make it retract, thus removing the old pads, as shown in the video. At this point, we clean the caliper from the residual dirt and install the new rear brake pads, finally reassembling the caliper on the disc!
