Dismantling the engine block of the Suzuki SV 650 requires first removing the engine from its housing by loosening the screws that secure it to its mounts and disconnecting all relevant pipes and connectors. Once the engine block is free, it can be extracted by removing the coil and spark plug: now you can unscrew the bolts securing the cylinder, slide it out, and access the piston underneath. At this point, you can remove the retaining ring, detach the piston from the conrod, and subsequently remove all other engine components.
