How to Replace the Key Fob Battery of a Suzuki Ignis

To replace the battery of the key fob for a Suzuki Ignis, press the unlock button and extract the emergency mechanical key from the fob. After removing the key, locate the groove on the casing and insert the tip of the key or a small plastic tool to separate the two halves of the shell. Open the fob carefully until you reach the battery compartment. Remove the old battery from its housing and insert a new one, respecting the indicated polarity. Check that the battery is correctly positioned and that the metal contacts are well seated. Then close the fob by aligning the two parts of the casing until they click into place. Finally, reinsert the mechanical key into its housing and check the correct operation of the fob buttons.
