How to Remove the Gear Lever on a Suzuki Samurai

To remove the gear lever, you need some practice and skill. Once you have the new replacement part, ensure the vehicle is secure. First, unscrew the knob, then remove the bolts at the base of the gearbox to extract and slide off the gaiter and the plastic seal. Now, remove the screws that secure the lever to the gearbox support and replace it with the new part. Grease the areas where the mechanical action occurs. Before tightening the screws, ensure all parts are positioned correctly. Refit the gaiter and screw in the final bolts.

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
