Replacing the Key Battery on a Suzuki Samurai

Removing the key barrel from a Suzuki Samurai and replacing its battery is very simple, and we will demonstrate it now. You will need a small cross-head screwdriver to unscrew the small screw that secures the barrel (see video). After removing the cover with the Suzuki emblem, use a small flat screwdriver to pry open the seam of the casing. Voila! Here is the battery! Pry it out using the flat screwdriver and insert the new one. Reassemble everything. As you can see, this is truly a straightforward operation that is very low cost.
