How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Suzuki Baleno

In the video, the timing belt replacement on a Suzuki Baleno is performed with the engine disassembled; start by positioning the engine in its base position (2 marks on both the upper and lower pulleys); now, undo the bolt on the tensioner roller and the pin to reduce the tension on the belt (the belt is tensioned by a spring that you will release); at this point, you can remove the timing belt. To refit the tensioner roller, ensure the peg is correctly positioned in the roller (there is a small hole in the roller for the peg to fit into); after the tensioner roller is mounted, check everything by moving the lever (the roller should also move); fit the belt starting from the crankshaft pulley, moving counterclockwise towards the camshaft sprocket, passing through the tensioner roller and returning to the camshaft pulley. Before reassembling the engine, manually turn it forward 2 full rotations and check the timing.
