This brief video guide shows how to replace the internal battery of the remote for a Suzuki Vitara produced from 1999 to 2001. Insert a small flathead screwdriver into the slot between the two halves at the bottom of the remote and start to twist it to apply pressure on the two halves to separate them. Once separated, you will immediately find the old battery to replace; replace it with a new one, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing down, and finally, reassemble the remote. The required battery is a CR2032 3V.
