Opening the front hood on a Suzuki Swift vehicle is a very simple operation. We start by getting on board the vehicle and lifting the lever located under the dashboard on the left side to release the hood latch. We then position ourselves in front of the hood and insert our hands into the groove to fully open the hood. We lift the hood and secure it with the rod, perform the desired maintenance, and then once the work is finished, lower the rod and let the hood fall on itself to close it. If the hood does not open, it may be necessary to force it with a screwdriver as the lock is stuck.
