In order to replace the rear brake pads of the Sym VF3i, you will need to loosen the central nut that secures the rear wheel to the corresponding end of the swingarm: once the nut has been loosened, you can remove the wheel and then proceed by removing the brake caliper from the corresponding disc. At this point, you will need to pry the pads out from inside the caliper with an object in order to insert the new ones. After installation, you will need to mount the wheel again and secure the caliper to the disc, verifying that everything is functioning properly.
