In this video, we can see the difference on a scooter with the ABS/TCS systems on or off. ABS= Antilock Braking System - anti-lock system. When braking with ABS/ON, the rider brakes hard, the scooter slows down in a straight line and remains stable, the system pumps the brakes much faster than human reaction. With ABS/OFF, the rider brakes forcefully, the wheel locks immediately and the scooter becomes uncontrollable, leading to a fall. TCS= Traction Control System - traction control. When accelerating with TCS/ON, the rider opens the throttle fully and the scooter accelerates without the rear wheel slipping excessively. With TCS/OFF, the rider opens the throttle and the rear wheel immediately loses traction, causing it to slide and often leading to a fall.
