Do you want to change the oil on the scooter? Here’s how to remove the oil filter and change the oil on a Sym Vf3i scooter. Secure the scooter on the centre stand and start by removing the air filter. Unscrew the securing bolt of the container located under the engine. Allow the oil to drain into a container. Once drained, you can screw the oil bolt back in. Use a strap wrench to unscrew the oil filter if it’s a large filter, otherwise use a socket wrench for a mesh filter. Replace all filters. Refill with the new oil recommended by the manufacturer. Check the engine oil level after refilling.
