Maintaining the Sym Joymax is not as demanding as with other scooters. In fact, it is required every 10,000 miles, a mileage almost like that of a car. To reset the light that indicates maintenance is due, simply turn on the ignition of the scooter and press the M button located on the right side under the rev counter. This will display various information, including the battery voltage and mileage. When the mileage appears, that is the moment to press both buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds, and the job is done. Switch off the ignition and turn it back on to verify.
