How to change the engine oil and its filter on the Triumph Bonneville T100

The guide shows you how to change the Triumph Bonneville T100 engine oil. The first operation to perform is to position the motorcycle safely on the side stand. At this point, with an 8 mm wrench, unscrew the oil pan drain bolt and drain the fluid into a container for disposal. Unscrew the oil filter, located in a recess near the previously opened bleed valve, and let the remaining oil flow into the container. Remove the oil tank cap to make it easier to drain the liquid. At this point, mounted a new gasket on the cap, tighten it in place at 25 Newton Meters. Grease the filter gasket and mount it in place; if you have a special wrench, tighten the filter to 10 Newton Meters. Position the motorcycle on the central stand, top up the engine oil; check the window to see the level. Start the engine for a few minutes and then top up.
