You can adjust the handbrake on a Toyota Verso by removing the cover located at the rear of the corresponding lever: once this panel is removed, you will be able to locate the underlying mechanism with the bolt that allows you to adjust the handbrake's tension. Once you find the bolt, you can adjust it by tightening it to make the handbrake firmer, or loosening it to make it softer. After adjustment, reinstall the panel in its place, ensuring everything functions correctly.
