How to change the key battery in the Toyota Corolla

In this article, you will learn how to replace the battery in the key of the Toyota Corolla. For this operation, you will need a flat screwdriver and a CR2016 battery. First, insert the screwdriver into the designated slot on the side of the top part of the key, then carefully lever using the screwdriver to separate the two ends. Keep the part with the buttons facing down, open the key, and now, being careful not to remove the buttons, lift the battery housing, then locate the appropriate opening pin and use the screwdriver again to lever it, taking care not to damage it. Once opened, you will have access to the battery, so using the screwdriver again, lift the battery, replace it, close the battery compartment, and reinsert it into the designated slot, then close the key by pressing it together with your fingers.
