In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the glow plugs in the Toyota RAV4 2.0 diesel, a straightforward operation that requires good manual skills. First, ensure that the engine is sufficiently cool, then open the bonnet, disconnect all the intercooler ducts, and remove the intercooler.

Next, remove the engine cover, unscrew the indicated plastic caps, and disconnect the fuel rail. Now, apply some penetrating spray on the glow plugs, unscrew them with a long 12mm socket, and tighten the replacements with a torque wrench set to 18Nm.
