How do you remove the spark plugs from a Toyota Yaris? Let’s see how to remove the spark plugs from the Toyota Yaris. Lift the front bonnet and secure it. Remove the soundproofing panel above the engine, undo the securing pins that hold the leads with a socket. Use a socket to undo the damaged spark plugs from inside the engine (extract them from the cylinder head). Take the new spark plug and insert it into the cylinder head and screw it in with the socket. Refit the engine cover panel, then start the engine for a functionality test.
