How to open the bonnet of the Yaris? Here’s how to open the front bonnet of the Toyota for maintenance. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet slightly and pull the release lever to the left. Once the engine bonnet is unlocked, lift it up and secure it with the prop rod. With the engine bonnet raised, you can carry out maintenance. After finishing the car maintenance, simply close the front bonnet: do not let it drop from too great a height to avoid damage.
