How to Remove the Battery from the Toyota Prius Hybrid?

To remove the battery from the Toyota Prius Hybrid, open the tailgate and lift the carpet that serves as flooring inside the boot. Once the carpet is lifted, loosen the screws securing the side plastics inside the boot. Next, lower the rear seats to unscrew the screws holding the covers above the battery. This will allow you to remove the screws securing the device in its housing, disconnecting its power cables: the device can then be replaced.
