Replacing Remote Key Cover

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp10 - Years 1999-2005

A common issue is the wear of the buttons on the remote key cover; this problem can be resolved quite economically as it is possible to purchase new remote shells or just the rubber cover for the buttons from the aftermarket. To separate the shells, unscrew the screw located at the back of the key, near the metal part, and lever between the shells; once separated, remove the electronic circuit, apply the new rubber cover to the buttons, and reassemble the shells by reapplying the screw.

How to Replace the External Wing Mirror on a Ford C MAX
