Replacing the Key Fob Battery of the Yaris

How do you dismantle the key fob of the Toyota Yaris? Here’s how to open the key fob and change the battery. Take your key fob and use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the key cover. Pry until the battery cover plastic detaches from the key: separate the plastic sections where the battery fits. Remove the flat battery with a screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage for replacement. Reassemble the battery cover on the key, and test the key's functionality with the buttons.
