How to Change the Key Battery on a Toyota Yaris

Today, we will show you how to change the remote battery on a Toyota Yaris. Take your remote and slide the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use the same key or a screwdriver to pry open the key cover. Pry until the two pieces separate from the cover, then use a screwdriver to remove the battery, replacing it with a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the cover on the key remote until you hear it click into place. Finally, insert the metal key back into the remote. Check the remote's proper functioning.
