How to Change the Key Battery of a Toyota Yaris

This guide will allow you to change the battery of your Toyota Yaris key. To start, take a screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the key shell together. Once unscrewed, separate the two parts and extract the battery container from inside. The battery container, like the outer shell, also needs to be opened by separating the two parts; in this case, however, it is not necessary to unscrew any screws, just manually separate the two pieces. At this point, you will find the battery compartment inside; remove it and replace it. Now, you can close the battery container, reinsert it into the key shell, and also close the latter with the appropriate screw.
