How to Replace the Key Battery in a Toyota Yaris

If you need to replace the key battery in your Toyota Yaris (2016-2020), simply follow these instructions. First, take the key and locate the small button on the back of the cover. Press and hold the button while simultaneously sliding out the physical emergency key contained within the cover. Next, insert the key into the slot of the cover and apply a slight outward push to fully open it. Finally, remove the exhausted battery and replace it with the new one (model CR2025).
