Replacing the battery of a Toyota Yaris key fob is not complicated. First, extract the metal key from inside the fob by pressing the button on the side of the casing, allowing you to pull the key out easily. Next, using the tip of the key, open the fob: insert the key tip into the bottom edge of the casing and lever it open; once you have access to the battery compartment, proceed to replace the battery. The required battery model is a flat CR 2032 3V.
