How do we change the battery of the remote key for our Toyota Yaris? In this video, see in detail how to do it. Take your remote key, and using a screwdriver, unscrew the tiny screw located on the key cover. Then, pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Pry until the cover opens. Extract the plastic body and open it by hand, remove the worn battery with a screwdriver, and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the cover onto your remote by pressing on the key cover until you hear it click into place. Check the correct functioning of the remote key.
