In this simple tutorial, learn how to replace the battery in a Toyota Avalon remote, produced from 2013 to 2018. First, take your remote and remove the emergency key by pressing the rubber release button located at the bottom of the remote. Then, insert the key into a designated slot and twist it to pry apart the two halves of the remote. Once the remote is open, you will see the old battery that needs to be replaced. Replace it, and finally, close the remote by reversing the procedure.
