To replace the battery in a Toyota RAV4, open the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine bay, usually on the right side. Completely switch off the vehicle and identify the terminals: the positive terminal is covered by a red cap, while the negative is exposed.

Loosen the negative terminal and disconnect it, then do the same with the positive terminal. Remove the fixing bracket at the base of the battery by unscrewing the locking bolt.

At this point, carefully lift the battery and remove it. Insert the new battery into the same housing, respecting the orientation of the terminals, and secure it with the bracket. Connect the positive terminal first and then the negative, ensuring they are tightly secured.

Close the bonnet and turn on the dashboard to verify correct operation.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
