How to Adjust the Handbrake on the Toyota Aygo?

Model: Toyota Aygo MK 1, Ab10 - Years 2005-2014

To adjust the handbrake on the Toyota Aygo, loosen the bolts securing the plastic cover over the centre tunnel. Once these bolts are loosened, completely remove this panel to access the handbrake cable located at the rear. Above the cable, there will be a bolt that needs adjusting: tightening this bolt will make the handbrake firmer, while loosening it will make the handbrake softer. After adjustment, refit the panel.
