To change the motor oil of a Triumph Speed 400, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes to fluidify the oil. Turn off the engine and place the motorcycle on a central stand to stabilize it. Locate the oil drain plug on the engine crankcase, usually located on the lower side. Use an appropriate wrench to unscrew the plug and let the used oil drain completely into a collection pan. Once the draining is complete, securely screw back the drain plug. Find the oil fill plug, often located on one side of the engine. Remove the plug and use a funnel to slowly pour the recommended amount of new motor oil as per the owner's manual. Make sure not to exceed the maximum level. After completing the filling, securely screw back the fill plug. Start the engine for a few minutes and check for any oil leaks.
