To change the engine oil of the Triumph Speedmaster, start by parking the motorcycle on a flat surface and make sure the engine is warm but not hot. Lift the motorcycle using a center or side stand to ensure a stable position. Place a container under the engine to collect the used oil. Remove the oil drain plug located on the engine case with a wrench and let the oil drain completely. For proper drainage, you can also remove the oil filler cap to facilitate the flow. After the oil has drained, replace the oil filter using a specific tool, making sure to apply a bit of new oil to the filter gasket before screwing it on. Once all the old oil has been removed and the new filter is installed, fill the engine with new oil, using the oil recommended in the motorcycle manual. Check the oil level using the indicator and add oil if necessary. Close the filler cap and start the engine for a few seconds, then check the oil level again and adjust if needed.
