Let's see how to change the battery on a Triumph Speed Twin: first, ensure the motorcycle is off, remove the seat - just pull it up - then remove the negative terminal - the black one - from the battery; be careful not to touch the motorcycle frame while unscrewing this terminal, as it could cause a short circuit; keep the terminal away from the frame, this is very important. Next, remove the positive terminal, the red one. Take out the battery and replace it with a new one, proceeding in reverse order, connecting the positive terminal first and only then the negative black one. Secure all cables so they do not touch anything when you replace the seat. Now you will need to reset the clock, which has disconnected when the battery was removed, and replace the seat.
