This guide shows how to perform the engine oil change on the Triumph Bonneville T100. The first operation is to securely position the bike on the side stand. At this point, using an 8 mm spanner, unscrew the drain bolt of the oil sump and let the fluid drain into a disposal container. Unscrew the oil filter, located in a recess near the previously opened drain valve, and let the remaining oil drain into the container. Remove the oil tank cap to facilitate the outflow of the liquid. At this point, with a new gasket on the cap, tighten it to 25 Newton Metres. Lubricate the gasket of the filter and mount it in position; if you have a specific tool, tighten the filter to 10 Newton Metres. With the bike on the centre stand, top up the engine oil; check the window to see the level. Start the engine for a few minutes and then top up again.
