To change the motor oil of a Triumph Rocket 3, start by positioning the motorcycle on a center stand or on a stable surface that allows easy access to the engine. Make sure the engine is turned off and cold to avoid burns. First of all, locate the oil drain plug located at the bottom of the engine. Use a suitable wrench to unscrew the plug and let the used oil drain into a suitable container, being careful not to damage the plug thread. After completely draining the old oil, reinsert and tighten the drain plug, making sure it is securely fastened. Then proceed to fill the engine with new oil. To do this, locate the oil filler cap, usually located on the top of the engine. Use a funnel to slowly pour the new oil, frequently checking the level to avoid overfilling. Once the oil has been added, replace the filler cap and make sure it is tightly secured. Finally, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes, then turn it off and check the oil level again. If necessary, add more oil until reaching the correct level. Complete the operation by checking for any leaks around the drain plug.
