To change the motor oil of a CFMOTO 450MT, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes to fluidize the oil. Next, turn off the engine and lift the motorcycle onto a central or side stand to ensure stability. Locate the oil drain plug on the engine and position a basin underneath it to collect the used oil. Using an appropriate wrench, unscrew the drain plug and let the oil completely drain into the basin. Once all the oil has drained, securely replace the drain plug. Now, locate the oil fill plug and remove it. Slowly pour the correct amount of new motor oil through the fill plug. Make sure to use the recommended oil for your CFMOTO 450MT, as specified in the owner's manual. Once the oil has been added, securely replace the fill plug. Finally, lower the motorcycle from the stand, start the engine, and let it run for a few minutes. Visually check for any oil leaks and make sure the oil level is correct.

The Piaggio Medley Does Not Have a Starter Motor

An interesting fact about the Piaggio Medley is that it does not have a traditional starter motor, as it is equipped with Piaggio's Start & Stop system called RISS (Regulator Inverter Start & Stop System) which works like this: when the scooter stops, the engine automatically turns off to reduce emissions and fuel consumption; to restart the engine, there is no need for a starter motor: an electronic inverter regulator restarts the engine quickly and quietly as soon as the brake is released or the throttle is twisted. Therefore, technically it does not have a starter motor, but it is the start & stop system that integrates the engine restart function. At startup, when we turn the key in the ignition, set it to the "ON" position, the dashboard lights up and the electronic control unit managing the RISS system is powered, and the engine starts automatically.
