How to set the time on the VDO tachograph of a commercial vehicle

Let's see how to set the local time on the VDO tachograph of a commercial vehicle: the purpose is to display the local time, for example when switching to daylight saving time or standard time, because the UTC time recorded by the tachograph cannot be changed. Access the menu by pressing the "ok" button, use the "down" arrow to scroll through the options until you find "vehicle entry", confirm and then select "local time", scroll down with the arrow until you find "modify time" and on the display you will see the UTC time on the right, flashing, and the local time that can be changed. Adjust this time with the up/down arrows. Each button press corresponds to 30 minutes. Confirm with the "ok" button, and the display will show "data recorded". To exit, press the "back arrow" and you're done.
