How to replace the joint of the tie rod axis

Today we will explain how to replace the tie rod joint. To carry out the replacement, we need to work safely, so we must park the vehicle on level ground, engage the handbrake, and block the rear wheels. Using a jack, we lift the affected side and place a jack stand under the support point. We remove the wheel and locate the joint to be replaced; the joint is located at the end of the tie rod or suspension connected to the spindle. We spray lubricant and unscrew the joint nut with a wrench. We remove the joint from the housing using a joint puller. We take the joint off the tie rod, counting the turns as we unscrew it so we can then screw it back on with the exact number of turns, for example, 15. We screw the new joint onto the tie rod with the same number of turns, inserting the pin into the hub and tightening the nut with a specific torque of 35-55 Nm. We mount the wheel and lower the car.
