Using the Exhaust Repair Band

In this video tutorial, you can see how to use the exhaust repair band. Before repairing the exhaust, you must consider the condition of the exhaust that needs repair. If the condition is good (if the hole is not excessively large and only if the exhaust end (i.e., the silencer) is in good condition), it will be possible to repair it; otherwise, it won't be feasible. To repair your exhaust with the band, brush, sand, and thoroughly clean the exhaust end. Then apply the exhaust band over the crack or hole that needs repair. Once done, start the car's engine for at least fifteen minutes. The exhaust heats up due to the passage of exhaust gases, and this heat causes the adhesive resins of the band to bond to the exhaust, sealing and repairing the crack or hole.
