How to Easily Fix Leaking Injectors

Let’s see how to easily fix leaking injectors: open the bonnet and remove the air filter box. Remove the screws holding a component (shown in the video) that is not needed. Disconnect the electrical connectors and detach the free pipe. Using a 14mm spanner, loosen the nut and then unscrew it by hand. The injectors come out in pairs - it is advisable to replace the seals - there are two seals on the injectors; a copper seal and a brown O-ring - on all injectors, otherwise, you will have to do this again. At the rear, loosen the nut with a 17mm spanner. With a bit of care and patience, pull them out of their housing. If they do not come out easily, there is a central screw that can be loosened to facilitate the operation. Replacing the copper washer is straightforward as it is at the bottom. Remove it and replace it with a new one. Replacing the O-ring is more complex. You need to go to the housing and carefully remove the damaged seal (avoiding it falling inside) and replace it with a new one. First, clean the channel as best as you can - as far as you can reach - with WD-40. Reinsert the injectors following the reverse procedure and then repeat the same operation for the second pair.
