In order to reset the error memory of the control unit it is necessary to proceed as follows: obtain an ODB type cable to connect the PC to the diagnosis socket of the vehicle control unit, usually positioned on the left side of the dashboard. Use a software that allows you to read the errors present on the "fiat multiecoscan" control unit. Start the car, select the car model and the type of control unit on the program, then click on "start" and wait for the connection to the control unit. The software will detect any errors and, if there are any errors, click on "delete errors" and the error warning light on the instrument panel will go out.
