In this video, we see how to use the Kia tire repair kit: this replaces the spare wheel in case of a punctured tire, and with this, it is not necessary to use the jack. The hole should not be larger than 4 mm and should not affect the sidewall of the tire. We pull over the car in a safe place and turn on the hazard lights. The kit is located under the trunk cover and consists of the compressor and the sealant container: on the back of the compressor, there is a cable to connect to the 12-volt socket inside the car. We connect the compressor cable to the tire valve, and the hose to the sealant canister, then we take the extension cord and plug it into the power outlet. We start it for 5/7 minutes: if it doesn't inflate within this time frame, it means that the hole is too big to be repaired with this technique. When it reaches the desired pressure, disconnect the compressor and close the valve. Drive at 80 km/h for about 10 minutes and then check the pressure again. Go to an authorized repair shop as soon as possible. You can drive a maximum of about 200 km with the tire repaired using this system, and never exceed 80 km/h.
